I believe that sometimes all it takes is one person who truly listens for a young person to feel seen and cared for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To me, it\u2019s important that no young person be defined by their diagnosis. A diagnosis may be part of someone\u2019s story, but it isn\u2019t who they truly are. At the end of the day, we\u2019re all human beings\u2014with our own experiences, strengths, and dreams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I believe that young people\u2019s voices must be heard in the very discussions and decisions that affect their lives.
