My name is Lisett, I am 30 years old, I graduated from Tallinn University with a degree in social work, and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in child protection. My choice of profession has been strongly influenced by my personal experiences as a child and young person, including living with post-traumatic stress disorder. These experiences have given me a deeper understanding of how important it is for adults to receive help, support, and understanding at the right time.
I believe that every child and young person deserves a safe and caring environment where they are listened to and supported without judgment. A sincere desire to understand and truly be there for a child or young person can be a powerful force that helps them on their path to recovery and a better tomorrow.
As a world improver, I carry within me the dream that every child MUST have at least one supportive and safe adult by their side as they grow up. It is precisely this idea and dream that I wish to carry forward in my work and volunteer activities.
