Rosanna

My name is Rosanna, a 24-year-old woman whose passion is ensuring that every young person feels important and valued.

My hope is to be the kind of person for young people that I never had myself—a trustworthy adult who listens, understands, and is there for them without passing judgment. I believe that sometimes all it takes is one person who truly listens for a young person to feel seen and cared for.

To me, it’s important that no young person be defined by their diagnosis. A diagnosis may be part of someone’s story, but it isn’t who they truly are. At the end of the day, we’re all human beings—with our own experiences, strengths, and dreams.

I believe that young people’s voices must be heard in the very discussions and decisions that affect their lives. If we don’t listen to young people, how can we truly know what is good and right for them?

My goal is to help create an environment where every young person feels that their voice matters, their feelings are important, and their presence is valued.
